ABOUT APP

The app-based toolkit has been designed on a HTML 5 and Angular JS (Java script) whose Content Management System (CMS) has been prepared on a PHP Code Ignitor. The programming has been carried on a my SQL data base on a CI framework. The application-based questionnaire has a multi facet functionary which is compatible on both web-based system and android based mobile phones and tablets. The three different internet gateway specialized toolkit was designed for collection of data and surveying.

The toolkit has been designed to collect ground information on agriculture production, income from agriculture, risk to production and access to finance for the farmers. The questionnaire has been designed in such a way that that information can be collected from individual farmers as well as from groups through a Focus Group Discussion (FGD). The toolkit also includes framework for data collection related to livestock and disaster management. Additionally, the toolkit also includes a framework on Rapid Visual Screening (RVS) on agriculture infrastructure. The data collected using the toolkit can be used as an input to vulnerability assessment for the agriculture and allied sector.

The toolkit has been developed as part of a joint collaboration with Department of Agriculture, Government of Bihar.
